Week of August 2-8 passed without victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week from August 2 to August 8, 2021, no information was received about any perished or wounded persons during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Resident of Ingushetia suspected of aiding militants

On August 3, a 36-year-old resident of Ingushetia, who was arrested under the case of an attack on policemen and illegal sale of firearms, was suspected by investigators of transporting by his car and supplying foodstuffs to wanted members of the cell of the terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz", banned in Russia.

A criminal case has been initiated against him under the article on complicity with members of an illegal armed formation (IAF).
