Fellow villagers report repeated disappearance of Ibragim Musaev

Ibragim Musaev, a resident of the village of Sernovodsky, who returned home two days ago after his disappearing in June, disappeared again on August 4. His fellow villagers saw a police car with North-Ossetian license number plates near Musaev's house, the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial"* has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ibragim Musaev, 41, a native of Sernovodsky, an asylum seeker in Greece, disappeared on June 25, 2021, on his way home from the Magas Airport. According to his relatives, he was kept at the Sernovodsky ROVD (District Interior Division), but Musaev was not listed as a detainee at the ROVD. On August 2, Musaev returned to the village.

On August 4, at about 4:00 p.m. Moscow time, Ibragim Musaev left his house in Sernovodsky and never returned, the HRC "Memorial"* reported on August 5. Musaev told his children who stayed at home that he needed to come out. He was in home clothes, without documents and a phone, says a message posted on the HRC's website.

Musaev's fellow villagers said that on August 4, a silver foreign-made car and a policeman UAZ "Patriot" van with North-Ossetian license number plates, in which three persons were sitting, arrived in the street where Musaev lived. The villagers also saw three persons standing in front of Ibragim's house; one of them looked like Musaev; then they all got into the car and left, says the message.
