Operation to liquidate militants failed in Dagestan

As a result of a special operation conducted today in the Untsukulskiy District of Dagestan, no militants were detained or liquidated.

According to the data obtained by the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" from a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, all the militants managed to escape in the forest massive near the village of Gimry.

We remind you that today in the morning in the village of Gimry, during a confiscation operation of illegally stored weapons, a skirmish burst out between militiamen and unknown persons, as a result of which one militiaman was wounded. Fighters of the MIA special units were brought to the scene; the village of Gimry was cordoned.

However, the search of the culprits was a failure. Now, the active phase of the operation is over, but reinforced Dagestan militia units remain in Gimry.
