Nagorno-Karabakh: peacemakers accompany six Azerbaijani military columns

Russian peacemakers have helped four columns of the Azerbaijani Army to drive through the Lachin Corridor, and two columns – along the route from Shusha to Kadjar and back, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Russian peacemakers are regularly ensuring safe movement of Azerbaijani militaries in Nagorno-Karabakh. On May 3, the Russian MoD reported about escorting of four convoys of the Azerbaijani Army along the Lachin Corridor and two convoys – along the route from Shusha to Kadjar and back.

Meanwhile, military engineers continue searching for and neutralizing unexploded ordnances. In total, since the start of demining, they have cleared 2087 hectares of territory, more than 643 kilometre of roads and 1775 houses; in total, 25,608 explosive objects have been found and neutralized, the Russian MoD has reported.
