Three KBR residents publicly apologize for beating up alcohol lovers

In a video posted in the social network, young men have asked to forgive them for attacking, in the Tersky District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), two men who were drinking alcohol.

"I beg your pardon for my wrongdoing ... I have disgraced my republic and my parents," one of the young men said in his video posted in the public "KBR Patriot" on the Instagram.

In another video, the young man is told that his act fails to meet the folk customs and norms of Islam.

The Telegram channel "Podsadnoy" regarded the video of the beating as evidence of "renewed aggression growth."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in October 2020, the court arrested 11 residents of the Lesken District within the case of "Sharia patrols". According to investigators, they were members of an extremist community and used force against those who refused to share their viewpoints.'
