YouTube blocks video about secret real estate property of Kadyrov’s associates

A video version of the “Project” online edition’s investigation into the secret property of people from among the Ramzan Kadyrov’s associates has been blocked following a complaint filed by the “Grozny” ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) for copyright infringement.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 7, the “Project” independent online edition posted the article prepared by journalists Maria Zholobova and Roman Badanin and entitled “An investigation into how Russia has got its own sultanate”. Fatima Khazueva, a finalist of the beauty contest, who enjoys the favour of Ramzan Kadyrov, owns a luxurious mansion in the centre of Grozny. Along with the wife of the leader of Chechnya, Fatima Khazueva also owns apartments in elite residential complexes in Moscow, the article reports.

YouTube video hosting blocked the video version of the “Project” online edition’s investigation about Fatima Khazueva and Ramzan Kadyrov. “The video has been blocked because the user of the Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company ‘Grozny’ filed a complaint against the post for copyright infringement,” the video’s page reports.

As of 1:25 p.m. Moscow time, the “Project” online edition did not post on its website and Twitter account any reaction to the complaint of the “Grozny” ChGTRK and the blocking of the video prepared by the “Project”. Meanwhile, on April 17, authors of the “Project” online edition reported on Twitter about the attacks on their website.
