Stop of Kadyrov son's fight surprises sport journalists

The coach of Aslan Bittirov, a fighter from Kabardino-Balkaria, stopped his fight with Adam Kadyrov without good reason, since there was no knockdown, and the fight course posed no threat to boxers' health. This is the opinion of Yaroslav Stepanov, the editor of the "Sport24" website, and Vadim Fursov, a "Match TV" commentator.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Adam Kadyrov, 13, defeated Aslan Bittirov by technical knockout at the "Time of Legends-6: Special Operation" tournament. Internet users have noted that the referee began counting the knockdown, despite the fact that Bittirov did not touch the floor with his hand or knee. The "Grozny" TV Channel released a story to prove Adam Kadyrov's honest victory, but Instagram users treat the story as biased.

Yaroslav Stepanov believes that the fight was stopped for no due reason. According to his version, stopping the fight and fixing a knockdown without fighter's touching the floor with a hand or knee looks strange, given the practice of amateur boxing.

The boxers fought honestly, each trying to win; the fight looked spectacular, Mr Stepanov has added. In this regard, it is "rather difficult" to talk about any conspiracy among the athletes.

Vadim Fursov, an MMA commentator for the "Match TV", also believes that there was no need of stopping the fight.

Ramzan Kadyrov has stated in a video posted on the groznytv Instagram page that in children's boxing, the referee must stop the fight if there is a risk to athletes' health.
