Incident with horsemen from Chechnya triggers reproaches against Dagestani law enforcers

All the speakers at the rally touched on the issue of the restoration of the Aukhov District, in the territory of which Chechens lived before 1944. The Dagestani police have stopped a column of horsemen with Chechen flags, the "Dosh" magazine reports. As a result, 29 horse riders only managed to reach the grave of the commander Baisangur Benoevsky, a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has informed, as reported by the Telegram channel "Ask Rasul".

The equestrian march was peaceful, Bashlam Chimaev, a blogger, wrote on the Instagram. "There were no weapons, no one was disturbed ... Have we lived to the point when permits are needed to visit monuments and graves?" he has asked.
