Attack on Mirzali continues series of incidents with political emigrants from Azerbaijan

Emin Akhmedbekov, the head of the Russian edition of the "Turan TV", said that the attack on Mirzali on March 14 was not the first one.

"He has a very popular YouTube channel; he often gives interviews about torture and the human rights situation in Azerbaijan ... The attackers spoke the Azerbaijani language," Emin Akhmedbekov has noted, adding that since 2017, Mirzali's family is under pressure.

Leyla Yunusova, Director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD), finds it obvious that Mirzali has suffered for his political and human rights activities. According to her story, "only the votes outside Azerbaijan remain independent."
