Festival of films on human rights to be held in Volgograd

On February 13-15, 2007, the city of Volgograd will host a charitable action of the International Festival of films on human rights "Stalker." The repertoire will include the best works of the Festival for several latest years. All of them are on human rights topics. The thematic film program "Women in Cinema" will present the films on the topics the woman's position in the modern society, and films created by women-producers.

The Film Festival will hold a travel charitable action: display of a film and creative meeting with cinematographers at the correction colony of the Volgograd Region.

The Film Festival "Stalker" exists in Russia since 1995. Its overall objective is to defend human rights by means of the movies. The Film Festival "Stalker" is a non-commercial and non-political action.
