Karabakh soldier wounded in shelling attack

A soldier of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army was wounded during a shelling attack from the Azerbaijani side, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 11, 2020, the first violation of the ceasefire regime since the end of the combat actions in Karabakh was registered. According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, the Azerbaijani armed forces attacked in the Gadrut District two Armenian villages of Khtsaberd and Khin Takher (the Azerbaijani names are Chailakkala and Kyokhne Taglar, respectively, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") that ended up in the enclave. Three Karabakh soldiers were wounded.

The armed forces of Azerbaijan again violated the ceasefire, the press service for the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reported. As a result, Vardan Kirakosyan, a soldier of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army, was wounded.
