Djabiev's widow complains about inaction of investigators

Investigators do not disclose any results of their work, and the General Prosecutor's Office has not appointed a new forensic examination in a case on the death of Inal Djabiev, his widow Oksana Sotieva says. MPs of South Ossetia supported the protest action organized by relatives of Inal Djabiev, and the republic's budget has not yet been adopted, the funding of public institutions has been cut.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the round-the-clock protest action organized by Inal Djabiev's relatives has been taking place in Tskhinvali since December 4. According to Oksana Sotieva, the protest action will be continued.

In their comments on Instagram, users fear that the activists' health may undermined by the multi-day winter protest action.

Journalist Ruslan Totrov compared the investigation into the Inal Djabiev's death with the case of Vladimir Tskaev from Vladikavkaz, who died after an interrogation at the ROVD (District Interior Division) in 2015. Ten police officers were accused of involvement in the Vladimir Tskaev's death. There was an attempt to set them free, but protest actions did not let the case to be slowed down and closed.

Anatoly Bibilov, President of South Ossetia, also compared the case of Inal Djabiev to the case of Vladimir Tskaev, but criticized the behaviour of the Inal Djabiev's mother.
