Ramzan Kadyrov reports calm situation in Grozny after militants' attack

In the capital of Chechnya, despite a recent attack on policemen, traffic is open on all streets, and all institution and transport services are provided as usual, Ramzan Kadyrov announces. The leader of Chechnya promised to name the Koran Museum after killed policeman Magomed Djabrailov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 28, there was an attack on inspectors of the patrol-and-post service (known as PPS) in Grozny. The police inspectors were attacked by brothers who had moved to Chechnya from Ingushetia. The attackers were killed in a shootout, which became the second armed incident in Chechnya in 2020 with casualties from among law enforcers.

The attack on the policemen did not affect the situation in the city, claims Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. According to him, one policeman, Magomed Djabrailov, was killed in the attack, while the second policeman stays in the hospital and nothing threatens his life.

The Koran Museum, the construction of which will soon begin in Grozny, will be named after the killed policeman.

Earlier, the natives of Ingushetia, who were killed in the attack, had not come to the attention of the police, the TASS reports with reference to its source from the law enforcement bodies.
