On December 7-13, seven persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of December 7-13, 2020, during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, seven persons suffered: one was killed and six were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

The casualty is an alleged member of the armed underground in Karachay-Cherkessia.

Explosions and terror acts

On December 11, in the village of Uchkeken, near the building of the FSB branch for the Malokarachaevsky District of Karachay-Cherkessia, an unknown man tried to break into the territory where operative-search actions were conducted. Law enforcers tried to detain him, but the attacker detonated himself and perished. According to investigators, there were two explosions; and the second one wounded six law enforcers.
