At detention, Dagestani resident blows up a grenade

A man suspected of murder has triggered a grenade while being detained in Dagestan, law enforcement sources have informed.

According to a source, policemen came to a local resident suspected of a murder aiming to detain him. He went out to them with a grenade; then he ran into the house where the explosion occurred.

The incident occurred in the village of Shava, Tsumadinsky District. There are no victims among law enforcers, the RIA "Novosti" writes referring to its Dagestani law enforcement source.

The man was earlier convicted, but had nothing to do with the armed underground, the TASS reports with reference to its law enforcement source in Dagestan.
