Instagram users from Chechnya speak out for peace in NK

The problem of Nagorno-Karabakh (NK) must be solved at the negotiating table, Instagram users have pointed out, condemning the victims on both sides of the conflict. Social network users from Chechnya, in spite of the video about sending of Chechens to NK, have stated that their fellow countrymen should not participate in the hostilities.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Elkhan Suleimanov, the head of the Chechen Ministry of Public Health, has publicly expressed support for Azerbaijan. On October 2, a video appeared on the Instagram, allegedly evidencing the Chechens' participation in the fighting in the Karabakh conflict zone.

Readers of the Chechen public hello_grozny have supported the ceasefire agreement concluded by the parties in conflict. At the same time, they regretted that it was not an armistice, but only a short-time ceasefire.

The Karabakh problem should be solved through negotiations, not on the battlefield, the user negin73.95 is sure.

"A poor peace is better than a good war," the user timur_bhss has stated.
