Azerbaijan and Armenia accuse each other of breaking ceasefire

Azerbaijani authorities claim that, after the start of the armistice agreement, Armenian militaries have tried to attack in the Agdere-Terter and Fizuli-Djabrail directions. In its turn, the Armenian side accuses Azerbaijan of shelling Gadrut and an offensive in the southern direction of the front.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 9, Moscow hosted negotiations of the foreign ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NK). The parties agreed on a ceasefire in the conflict zone from October 10. However, after the ceasefire agreement entered into force, Yerevan accused Baku of continued shelling.

"The Azerbaijani military forces are holding the city of Gadrut under fire," Armenia's unified information centre has written on the Facebook.
