Instagram users urge to clear medical experts' role in Lizan Isakova's case

Lizan Isakova, a resident of Chechnya, and her son Khazbulat, convicted in the case of a fraud with disabled status, could not have committed their scam without the help of medical experts and officials, social network users are sure.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 24, the court sentenced Isakova and her son to four years in prison. Her son's role in receiving unjustified aid from authorities was secondary, some residents of Chechnya believe.

Social network users have urged to find and punish the doctors who had confirmed Isakova's disability.

"The son was convicted, but the doctors ... not. It's unfair. After all, it is very difficult for really sick people to obtain disability categories from them," the user skarletok has noted.

Some users have suggested that Isakova had received her disability status due to doctors' and officials' negligence.
