Armenian MoD questions information about wounded Azerbaijani soldier

On September 14, no armed incidents were registered in the area where, according to a report from Baku, a soldier was allegedly wounded, the press secretary for the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on September 15, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan released a statement that Azerbaijani soldier Renat Eldar-oglu Aliev was wounded as a result of the violation of the ceasefire in the Tovuz District in the evening on September 14.

The information about the wounding of an Azerbaijani soldier does not correspond to the actual situation, declares Shushan Stepanyan, the press secretary for the Armenian MoD. "On September 14, there were no ceasefire violations in the Tavush direction, neither from the Armenian nor Azerbaijani sides <...> Today, the situation in the Tavush direction continues to remain calm," Shushan Stepanyan informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on September 15.
