Social network users treat Kadyrov's call to refrain from calling an ambulance as absurd

While commenting on the information stating that people who do not have symptoms of the coronavirus infection also address an ambulance, Ramzan Kadyrov has said that residents of Chechnya should call an ambulance only in exceptional cases. People may call an ambulance not only because of the suspicion of COVID-19, Instagram users and residents of the republic note.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in July, the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection were tightened in Chechnya. Meanwhile, Ramzan Kadyrov himself and his associates do not wear masks while attending public events.

According to a story of the "Grozny" TV Channel, posted on Instagram, Ramzan Kadyrov criticized the people who called an ambulance despite it was not absolutely necessary. The leader of Chechnya explained his claim by the fact that medical workers who "went out on every unnecessary call" did not have time to provide assistance to those who really needed it.

"And what if a person suffers a stroke, a heart attack, but not coronavirus?" user lyuchiya_ asked. "It makes absolutely no sense," user golos.istinyi wrote.

Some local residents also shared their surprise by the statement voiced by Ramzan Kadyrov. "My husband suffered from fever, cough, and chills for several days... I suspected he got coronavirus. That's good that my suspicion turned out to be wrong. How could one find out diagnose of a sick person without an ambulance?" said Fatima, a resident of Grozny.
