Law enforcers publicly scold three residents of Chechnya for dangerous driving

The fathers of the young men, caught by Chechen law enforcers for violating traffic rules, have stated to the camera that they felt disgraced by the behaviour of their sons. Law enforcers should have not humiliated the fathers, Instagram users and local residents have noted.

Inspectors of the GIBDD (traffic police) have found a video in a social network, in which young people, while driving a car, are flagrantly violating traffic rules. Administrative protocols were drawn up on the violators, and a talk was held with them, says the post in the Instagram public "ChP Grozny_95".

The post was accompanied by a video clip that interested policemen, as well as by a video from the police station" demonstrating three young men, with their heads down, standing in front of a policeman. The father of one of the young men who was present there said that he was disgraced.

The user kurazova25.11.1972 has criticized the law enforcers who had spread the video with young men's fathers. "It's not very correct to show fathers on TV. They could have a personal talk, and that's all," the user wrote.

The residents of the republic, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, also believe it incorrect to force parents to repent for the violations committed by their children. "It's clear that the guys had violated [the traffic rules]. But they are quite adult young men, who can and should respond for their actions themselves. Why should they involve their fathers; moreover, forcing them to apologize?" Magomed, a local resident, was indignant.
