Residents of Chechnya recall that deceased Abushaikh Vismuradov had beat up old man

The messages in the WhatsApp about the death of Abushaikh Vismuradov, a former head of the Grozny Police are accompanied by a video with beating of an elderly man.

The funeral of Abushaikh Vismuradov was held on June 12 at the cemetery of the village of Akhmat-Yurt, Kurchaloi District, which is the ancestral village of the head of Chechnya. According to local residents, the republic's leadership, law enforcers, district heads and officials of various levels came to the Tezet (wake) for Vismuradov, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported.

Messages about Vismuradov's death, which are spread among residents of Chechnya through the WhatsApp messenger since June 12, are accompanied by a video clip of abuse of an elderly person, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has added.

In the video, Vismuradov dressed in a police uniform is beating an old man.

"They say, he has died, this guy (Abushaikh Vismuradov, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). Now, he'll find what he has done (that is, he will answer for what he had done, – note of the "Caucasian Knot")," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has translated the comment of one of the messenger users to the video with the beating of an old man.

Vakha, a resident of Chechnya, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that this is not the only such video with Vismuradov. "My attitude to him has changed for the worse after the videos appeared where he was beating people," he said.
