Ramadan prompts KBR residents to actively help those in need

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the charitable foundations "Kavkaz-Nur" and "Circassian Renaissance" are raise funds for the needy and returnees. According to activists, during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, there were more enthusiasts willing to help.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the "Kavkaz-Nur" foundation organized fundraising in a social network for buying foodstuffs for the families in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), who found themselves without money due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Help will be rendered both across the republic and beyond – in Karachay-Cherkessia and Adygea, Ratmir Karov, an activist, has explained.

During the month of Ramadan, there were more people who wanted to help those in need, Amina Ponezheva, a volunteer, has added.

Instagram users have left many messages of gratitude in pages of both foundations.

"I was overwhelmed with emotions, but I couldn't convey them. The father of my children wouldn't help even with bread, but here, unknown guys brought everything right home. I was in tears," wrote the user khakulinamamisheva.
