Georgian investigators: law enforcer threats teenager before his suicide

A questioning of a teenager at a police station lasted more than six hours and took place at night, while an investigator threatened the minor with creating problems for his relatives, the State Inspector General reports the details of a case on the schoolboy's suicide. The investigator is arrested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 17, a 15-year-old teenager, who five days earlier tried to commit suicide, died in Georgia. The schoolboy was suspected of entering at night the private "Green School", where he studied for several months only, and leaving inscriptions in the teacher's and other rooms. The teenager was summoned for questioning as a witness, but later, his relatives said that he was subjected to psychological pressure. The policewoman was accused of forcing the teenager to testimony.

The Tbilisi City Court arrested investigator Marianna Choloyan in the case on bringing the teenager to suicide, the information agency "InterPressNews" reported on December 19.

According to the agency, the case is being investigated under two articles: bringing to suicide and coercion to testify.
