Ingush Senator rents a flat for family of girl with amputated arm

Ingush authorities are now solving the issue of providing housing to the needy family, in which, after discharging from hospital, the girl, who had her arm amputated as a result of domestic violence, will live. In the upcoming year, they will live in a rented apartment in Magas.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after leaving a Moscow hospital, the girl will live with her mother.

Earlier, the abused child lived under guardianship in the family of her aunt, who has been charged with intentionally causing life-threatening bodily harm. The woman is under arrest, but refuses to plead guilty. Because of gangrene, the girl had her right forearm and wrist amputated; she is now in a Moscow hospital.

The Ingush Parliament has held a working meeting to discuss the help to the girl's family, the provision her with some housing during the year, and payment of benefits, the lawyer, Elena Misalova, has reported. "Senator Belan Khamchiev has rented a two-room apartment with all conveniences for this family for a year; it's located next to the school," said Ms Misalova.
