Authorities of Grozny invite nondrinking Father Frost and Snegurochka for the New Year
The authorities of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, have allocated more than 2 million roubles for the New Year decoration of the City Duma and for a performance for Duma members with the participation of Father Frost (Russian Santa Claus) and Snegurochka (Snow Maiden).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the committee for state orders of the Chechen government has spent 6 million roubles from the republic's budget on organizing a New Year corporate party for state officials. The event includes a concert featuring pop stars and a dinner for 600 guests. The event will be attended by the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
The authorities of Grozny are looking for a Father Frost and Snegurochka for the New Year performance. The actors are forbidden to swear, drink, smoke before the performance and use dangerous objects and animals.
The customer demands that the Snow Maiden's makeup does not look vulgar, and her fur coat covers her knees, the Telegram channel "Podyom" (Rise) has noted.
Let us note here that Ramzan Kadyrov himself likes to dress up as Santa Claus on the New Year Eve.
