North-Ossetian MNR achieves examination of travel blogger's video clips about Vladikavkaz and Ingushes

The Ministry of National Relations (MNR) of North Ossetia is seeking to criminally prosecute Artyom Plato, a video blogger, who called the right-hand bank of Vladikavkaz the Ingush one.

The Prosecutor's Office (PO) of North Ossetia has reacted to the MNR's statement regarding the video clips by Artyom Plato. Earlier, MNR employees handed over the video clips and a statement to the PO asking to check the blogger's clips for inciting ethnic hatred. A linguistic examination has been appointed on the clips.

The examination "may last for up to six months," but if Plato's clips reveal signs of inciting ethnic hatred, he will face a criminal case, and the videos will be removed from the YouTube, the "Ossetia News" wrote on October 24 with reference to the PO.

Artyom Plato himself asserts that he had not offended residents of North Ossetia. He says that he was interested in the history of North Ossetia and Ingushetia' the deportation of Chechens and Ingushes and the Ossetian-Ingush conflict; and in his blog he only called on both nations to peaceful coexistence.
