Social network users surprised by Makhi Idrisov's house arrest

By placing Makhi Idrisov, who boasted of his friendship with Ramzan Kadyrov, under house arrest, the court chose a soft pre-trial restriction measure for him, users of social networks believe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Makhi Idrisov, detained on September 19 by the decision of the Kirov District Court of Makhichkala, was placed under house arrest for a month on suspicion of illicit arms trafficking. Earlier, a source from the law enforcement bodies has reported that during searches, law enforcers found at home of Makhi Idrisov a pump-action shotgun, three Kalashnikov submachine guns, grenades, several pistols, and a collection of cold steel arms.

Under reports that Makhi Idrisov was sent under house arrest, users of social networks drew attention to the soft pre-trial restriction measure.

"Some guys are placed [to a SIZO (pre-trial prison)] for a couple of rounds of ammunition, and here a whole arsenal of guns is found and the man is placed under house arrest," Rasul Abdulaev wrote.

"Our courts are very selective when arresting people!! SIZOs are filled with persons taken with rusty pistols, while here a collection of Kalashnikov submachine guns is found and the man is placed under house arrest!" wrote Facebook user Arthurr Khan on the "News of Dagestan" public page.
