Militants' hideout liquidated in western Chechnya

Law enforcers have neutralized ammunition and explosives found in the militants' hideout in the Urus-Martan District, the Chechen Military Commandant's Office has reported.

The camouflaged hideout was found in a forest far from dwelling settlements, a source from the Commandant's Office told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "The hideout contained three shots to an RPG anti-tank grenade launcher, three of F-1 hand grenades, a TNT block, a plastid-type explosive, elements for making improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a detonator of an aerial bomb, and about 200 cartridges of various calibres to automatic weapons," said the source, noting that experts blew up the ammunition and explosives in place.

According to the source, the hideout was found during joint operative activities by agents of the regional "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) and the FSB Department.
