Ramzan Kadyrov's bike ride shows forced calm after shooting in Chechnya

A night bike ride of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov through Grozny several hours after an attack on law enforcers in the centre of the Chechen capital "promoted" a calm situation in the region for citizens and tourists, noted local residents interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 23, policemen were attacked in the Leninsky District of Grozny, not far from the residence of the Chechen leader and the Grozny City complex.

The leader of Chechnya made the bike ride through the streets of night Grozny several hours after the incident. An appropriate video with comments by the leader of the region was posted on his page on the social network "VKontakte" on June 23.

The video is an online record of the bike ride made by Ramzan Kadyrov himself. The leader of Chechnya commented on the situation in the streets of the city, while singing about the beauty of Grozny in the Chechen and Russian languages.

Users of the social network "VKontakte" expressed different opinions regarding the action of the Chechen leader. Some users admired the beauty of Grozny. "How beautiful Grozny is," wrote Amina Delbieva.

Other social network users expressed their indignation about the lack of information about the attack on the law enforcers in the centre of Grozny and asked to comment on the incident.
