Native of Dattykh village reports detention of Ingush men on border with Chechnya

On April 28, two Ingush men were detained near the village of Dattykh located not far from the border with Chechnya and taken to the neighbouring republic, reported Magomed Pidiev, a native of the Dattykh village.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed the agreement on securing the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia. In Ingushetia, the signing of the above agreement and the corresponding republican law led to mass protests. On October 31, Ramzan Kadyrov ordered to improve and landscape the territories on the border with Ingushetia, and in early November, the Ingush authorities announced the restoration of the abandoned village of Dattykh near the border with Chechnya.

In the afternoon on April 28, Ibragim Korigov and Magomet Belkharoev, residents of the Sagopshi village, were detained near the Dattykh village "by guards from a paramilitary unit supervising the construction of the Bamut-Tsecha-Akkh-Yalkhoroi road," Magomed Pidiev reported.

"According to friends of the detainees, the men went on an excursion to Egi-Chozh, made photos and videos. On their way back, near the village of Dattykh, on the right bank of the Fortanga River, guards detained two of their comrades and took them away," Magomed Pidiev wrote on his Facebook page.

A screenshot of the detention report was published by the "Fortanga.ORG" on its Instagram page fortangaorg.

"Ibragim Korigov and Magomet Belkharoev detained in Dattykh are found in Chechnya, and they are being brought to the Sunzha ROVD (District Interior Division) in the Republic of Ingushetia. I've got the information from a reliable source," wrote Magomed Pidiev on his Facebook page at 8:49 p.m. Moscow time.

At present, the "Caucasian Knot" cannot yet confirm the information about the detention of the Ingush residents near the border with Chechnya and their whereabouts after the detention.
