Hideout with weapons found near Azerbaijani village

Law enforcers have found a hideout with pistols, grenades and ammunition in the vicinity of the village, located 19 kilometres from the border with Dagestan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan has reported today.

According to the MIA, the hideout was found in the vicinity of the village of Kebelyoba in the Zagatala District during a joint operation of the MIA and the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan.

The hideout contained a revolver, a hunting rifle with 23 cartridges, two hand grenades, a 4.5 millimetre pistol, 680 different calibre rounds, a night vision device, a submachine gun magazine, a sports gun with two magazines thereto, a magazine for a 9 mm pistol, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the Azerbaijani MIA.
