Armenian supper is disabled after being wounded in Syria

Doctors had to amputate a foot of a sapper from Armenia, who was wounded during demining in Syria, the Centre for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 7, a sapper, who arrived in Syria as a member of the humanitarian contingent from Armenia, was wounded during demining.

Let us remind you that on February 8, a group of 83 people arrived in Syria from Armenia, consisting of medical personnel, specialists in humanitarian demining, as well as experts for ensuring safety of specialists themselves. The opposition had criticized the authorities' decision to send an Armenian mission to Syria. Armenian political analysts have treated the sending of the contingent as a curtsey to Russia.
