Social networks criticize KBR's Health Ministry for poor state of hospitals

Users of the Instagram have expressed outrage at the information about dirty mattresses and bedspreads, issued to patients in the infectious diseases ward of the hospital of the dwelling settlement of Maisky and stated that a similar picture can be observed in hospitals in other cities of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).

The message about dirty mattresses in the Maisky hospital appeared in the evening of February 10 on the page of the community "ChP/Nalchik".

"These are the conditions faced by patients of the Maisky Infectious Hospital. People are given such mattresses, bedspreads and bed linen. They demand to draw attention to the situation and take measures," said the message.

The message was accompanied by several photographs showing very dirty and torn mattresses.

Most commentators said they were shocked and outraged by what they saw.

"When I saw the photos, at first I thought that they had closed some den; and it turned out that it was the hospital!" the user olgadayrova exclaimed.

In response to numerous comments, the Ministry of Public Health (MPH) of the KBR stated that dark spots on mattresses remained after the cleaning thereof.
