Three wounded in Chechnya

A powerful explosive device planted by the roadside detonated at the crossing of Krasnykh Frontovikov Street and Orjonikidze Avenue in Grozny's Leninskii district at about 8:30 a.m. on 28 October, a source with Chechnya's Internal Affairs Ministry said. Two military men were wounded as a result of the explosion, according to the available information, said the police officer.

Besides, a bomb blast seriously wounded an officer of the Russian Defence Ministry near Eshilkhatoi in Chechnya's Vedeno district yesterday, according to the interlocutor.
