On December 3-9, one person fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of December 3-9, at least one person perished in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus; there is no information about any wounded ones. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

The casualty is an alleged member of the armed underground in Dagestan.

Special operation in Dagestan

On December 7, in the vicinity of the village of Endirei of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, a suspected militant was killed during a special operation, the National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) has stated, noting that law enforcers blocked an armed man, who was found in the course of operative-search activities. He refused to surrender to the authorities, opened fire on law enforcers and was shot dead during the shootout. At the scene of the armed clash, weapons, ammunition and an improvised explosive device (IED) were found. The casualty was identified as wanted Marat Alinchiev, who had been on the wanted list.
