Serzh Sargsyan's nephew detained in the Czech Republic

In Prague, Czech law enforcers have detained Narek Sargsyan, a nephew of Serzh Sargsyan, the third president of Armenia, who was wanted within the case of possessing drugs and weapons.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in early July, law enforcers found drugs and weapons in Narek's apartment. The search was conducted in connection with the suspicion that Narek Sargsyan had fraudulently obtained 14 graphic drawings by Martiros Saryan, the famous painter. The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia put him on the wanted list.

Narek Sargsyan was found in Prague on December 6. "At detention, he presented a fake passport of a Guatemalan citizen Franklin Gonsalez," the press service of the Armenian Police has reported today.

This information has been delivered to the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Armenia for the purpose of Narek's extradition to the homeland, a police source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
