Kadi of Grozny reproaches Ingush Mufti for his trips to Chechnya

Adam Ilyasov, Deputy Mufti of Chechnya and Kadi of Grozny, reproached Isa Khamkhoev, Mufti of Ingushetia, after his reply to Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament. Adam Ilyasov blamed Isa Khamkhoev for stirring up the conflict and mentioned how he sought support in Chechnya.

Earlier, on October 25, a video about the arrival of Magomed Daudov to the Mufti of Ingushetia was made public. The video shows how Magomed Daudov stands in front of the Isa Khamkhoev's house and says that the Mufti avoids meeting him and summoning him to the Sharia court. In response, Isa Khamkhoev has stated that he will not be responsible for possible actions of local young people if Magomed Daudov visits him again.

The Ingush reaction to the visits of Ramzan Kadyrov and his subordinates to the leaders of the protest in the republic forced the leader of Chechnya to give up pressure on critics, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" reports.

On October 28, an abstract from Adam Ilyasov's video message to Isa Khamkhoev was posted on Instagram. In his message, Adam Ilyasov reproaches the Mufti for "the words of zulma" (zulma is an injustice, a prohibited act for a Muslim,  note of the "Caucasian Knot").

According to user army_of_warriors, the confrontation started with a video message of Isa Khamkhoev about two weeks ago, in which he spoke uncomplimentary about Ramzan Kadyrov. After that, the Chechen Mufti Salakh Mezhiev addressed Isa Khamkhoev and Magomed Daudov came to his home, but did not meet him. The Isa Khamkhoev's threatening statement became a pretext for a new conflict, and the Chechen Muftiate "fell into silly reproaches," the blogger wrote.
