TV Company named after Kadyrov receives right to All-Russian broadcasting

The Akhmat Kadyrov TV and radio company named "Put" (Path) has become the first regional Islamic television channel that received broadcasting right throughout Russia, the spokesman of the Chechen Ministry for Press has stated.

"The first Russian Islamic TV and radio resource has been granted a broadcasting license. Earlier, the profile document was issued for radio broadcasting," says the message dated October 8 posted on the page of the TV Channel "Put" on the Instagram.

Residents of Chechnya, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, differed in their opinions on the activities of the "Put" TV and Radio Company (TRC).

"Those programs, cartoons for children, brochures on the essence of Islam that the "Put" Company issues are of great importance. They make it possible for both adults and children to learn a lot about the religion of Islam," said Imran, a resident of Grozny.

The TRC "Put" is influenced by the leadership of Chechnya and promotes its position on Islam, Shamil, a student of one of Grozny universities, is sure. "Before, they did it across the republic; now they got a chance to spread their vision all over Russia," he said.
