Two die in shooting in Chechnya

Two police officers were killed in an attack committed yesterday in Chechnya's Grozny district.

"Unidentified persons in two cars shot a Zhiguili car in which two police officers and a woman, a relative of one of them, in the 15th collective dairy farm. Both policemen died of sustained wounds on the spot," a representative of the Grozny District Division of Internal Affairs said.

The woman, having received gunshot wounds, was admitted to the city hospital according to him, Interfax reports.
