Explosion at filling station

A VAZ-2104 vehicle at the intersection of Mayakovskaia St and the Staropromyslovskoye road near a filling station in the centre of Grozny exploded at about 2.45 pm MSK today.

A 10-year-old boy who worked at the filling station was killed, an informed source in Chechnya said earlier. Eleven people were wounded, according to RIA Novosti.

At the same time, a source with the republican military commandant's office told Interfax three people had died, according to preliminary information.
