Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of machine-gun attacks

During the last 24 hours, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime for 81 times by using large-calibre machine guns, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 2, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 73 shelling episodes for the last 24 hours.

On August 2-3, positions of the Azerbaijani Army were attacked in five dwelling settlements, namely in the villages of Guschu Airym, Gyzylgadjyly and Bala Djafarli of the Gazakh District; Mundjuglu and Garalar of the Tovuz District, and also on the nameless heights of the Gedabek District, the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.

Today, by 9:30 a.m. Moscow time, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh did not comment on this statement – there is no respected information on the websites of their MoDs. On July 28, Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of 300 shelling episodes in the conflict zone for the last week.
