Nagorno-Karabakh counts 300 shelling episodes in the conflict zone during a week

During the week from July 22 to July 28, Azerbaijani militaries violated the ceasefire regime for 300 times; a soldier was wounded during one of the bombardments, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that during the previous week, by July 21, Nagorno-Karabakh counted 150 acts of shelling by Azerbaijan. Levon Mnatsakanyan, the Defence Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh, has stated that the number of violations of the ceasefire regime by the Azerbaijani side decreased dramatically.

On July 22-28, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired over 2500 rounds of small arms of various types at Karabakh positions, the press service of the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh has reported.

"The Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh has refrained from retaliatory actions and continues confidently carrying out the combat mission at a high level," the MoD has stated.

Earlier, on July 27, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reported that it was conducting an investigation into the wounding of its serviceman.

"On July 26, David Arthurovich Miloyan, a serviceman of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh, born in 1998, was wounded," the press service of the MoD has reported.

The Military Hospital of Nagorno-Karabakh reported that the soldier was hospitalized in grave condition.

In its turn, this morning, Azerbaijan announced 104 bombardments by Armenia within the last 24 hours.
