Five persons stay in hospitals after a road traffic accident near Izberbash

This morning, a road traffic accident involving a minivan and a car has occurred at the 860th kilometre of the federal highway "Kavkaz". As a result of the road traffic accident, two persons were killed and other ten were hospitalized.

"All the victims of the road traffic accident are citizens of Azerbaijan who took a minivan to go to their work in Dagestan," reported Zalina Murtazalieva, the spokesperson for the Ministry for Public Health of Dagestan.

According to Zalina Murtazalieva, three victims still stay at the hospital of Izberbash, while other two were transported to Makhachkala for medical treatment. "The remaining five persons are discharged from the hospital to receive outpatient treatment," the TASS quotes Zalina Murtazalieva as reporting.

A driver and a passenger of the car were killed in the road traffic accident, Zalina Murtazalieva reported.
