Serzh Sargsyan's nephew wanted

Law enforcers have found in the apartment of Narek Sargsyan, a nephew of the third president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, drugs and weapons. The country's National Security Service (NSS) has declared him wanted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 4, the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Armenia resumed the inquiry into the criminal case on shooting in Yerevan 11 years ago with the participation of Hayk Sargsyan, another Serzh Sargsyan's nephew. According to the case files, on April 1, 2007, a resident of Yerevan Simonyan was hospitalized with a through gunshot wound in his abdomen area.

The NSS received operative data that drugs and weapons were hidden in one of the apartments in Arami Street. During operative actions, it was established that the apartment belongs to "the 31-year-old resident of Yerevan Narek Sargsyan," says the message posted on the NSS' website on Thursday, July 5.

The apartment was put under supervision; and law enforcers soon detained Serob Sahakyan, who, according to investigators, is a close friend of Narek Sargsyan, and Vladimir Shaginyants, who accompanied Sahakyan. Drugs and weapons were found in the suitcase carried by these men.

"On June 22, 2018, Narek Sargsyan, along with his bodyguard Artyom Petrosyan, flew to Moscow aiming to go from there to one of European countries," the NSS has reported.
