During the week of June 11-17, 2018, at least one person fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. No wounded were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

According to the law enforcement bodies, the deceased man was involved in the activities of the armed underground in Ingushetia.

Attacks on law enforcers

On June 12, at a meeting with Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of the republic, and a FSB officer, relatives of Ibragim Aliev were informed that he was killed in an attempt to escape after he grabbed scissors from a table during the interrogation and attacked an investigator with a shout: "Allah Akbar!" On June 9, the kidnapping of Ibragim Aliev was reported by his cousin. According to Zukhra Chakhkieva, a wife of Ibragim Aliev, the law enforcers who came to their house on June 8 asked not only about Ibragim, but also about his brother Bashir. The woman noted that her husband left the house for the yard shortly before the arrival of the law enforcers. When they arrived, Ibragim tried to escape, but he was caught. On the day before, Bashir left for his mother's relatives, but returned home at night and spent the night in a temporary shelter. Bashir managed to escape. During the search, the law enforcers took a "cylindrical-shaped flask" out of the freezer and found items similar to an F-1 grenade and an improvised explosive device in a building with construction materials. According to Zukhra Chakhkieva, her husband was beaten right in the yard and inside the house. The law enforcers forced him to sign a kind of paper and took him away with them in a UAZ car without state registration numbers. Officials from the Security Council of Ingushetia, who summoned relatives of Ibragim Aliev on June 11, offered them to find Bashir and bring him to the law enforcement bodies. The relatives brought Bashir to the meeting with Yunus-Bek Evkurov held on June 12. According to the relatives, Bashir is demented and is being currently kept at an IVS (temporary detention facility). Till present, the Ibragim Aliev's body has not been given out to relatives for burial.
