Man killed by explosion in Stavropol apartment building
A resident of a multi-storey building in Stavropol made a self-explosion, the unified duty-dispatching service has reported. According to preliminary data, a former law enforcer has blown up a grenade, a source reports.
The incident has occurred today on the top floor of a multi-storey building in Shpakovskaya Street. Tenants of the house were evacuated, Stavropol territorial law enforcement bodies have reported.
The TASS has confirmed with reference to a source from the above dispatching service that it was a self-explosion; there is no threat to the tenants.
The "Interfax" reports that according to preliminary data, a former law enforcer made a self-explosion by triggering a grenade.
"According to preliminary data, the casualty is a man born in 1978, who, for yet unknown reasons, triggered a grenade; he died, and nobody was hurt," a source told the "Interfax".
