Two residents of Kabardino-Balkaria accused of plotting a terror act

A criminal case against residents of Kabardino-Balkaria, suspected of plotting an attempt on a law enforcer, has been brought to court, the Prosecutor's Office reports.

According to investigators, the defendants got instructions from a member of a terrorist organization internationally wanted in connection with his participation in combat actions in Syria. The suspects were to commit a terror act to join the above terrorist organization.

Two men planned to kill a law enforcer by activating a bomb, but they did not manage to implement their plan.

The criminal case has been sent to the North-Caucasian District Military Court.
