Two Stavropol shopping centres may be closed after terrible Kemerovo fire

The prosecutor's office found violations of fire safety regulations in two Stavropol shopping centres – "Cosmos" and "Moscow" – and demanded to close them until the violations are eliminated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the fire in the Kemerovo "Winter Cherry" shopping complex, 64 people died, including 41 children. The tragedy triggered inspections of observance of fire safety regulations in shopping centres, complexes and malls all over Russia.

Residents of Southern Russia have joined the action #locked in social networks aiming to prevent such tragedies.
