Gasanguseinovs' representative tells about possible revenge of Dagestani law enforcers

On March 28, the YouTube video channel posted a video appeal of Murtazali Gasanguseinov, the father of the Gasanguseinov shepherd brothers, killed by Dagestani law enforcers in August 2016.

Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov were killed on August 24, 2016. Law enforcers declared them to be militants, who opened automatic fire at policemen. The casualties' fellow villagers demanded to punish those responsible for their murder, asserting that the brothers were shepherds and had no relation to the militants.

The video posted at YouTube channel shows Murtazali Gasanguseinov reading his open statement. He says he is confident that the murder of his sons had been planned and organized by two high-ranking local law enforcers. Also, the father repeated his version that his sons' death had to do with the murder of Judge Ubaidula Magomedov.

The same video shows Djambulat Gasanov, a member of the initiative group for investigating the brothers' murder. He reports that he is the head of the regional human rights organization "Right and Law" set up in connection with the death of Murtazali Gasanguseinov's sons. According to Gasanov, he "strongly hinders" those who had organized the shepherds' killing, and suggested that he faces "the danger of physical elimination."

"Therefore, if something happens to me, if, for example, I am accidentally killed, [the two above law enforcers] should be guilty of my death," Djambulat Gasanov has stated in the video.
